So I purposely did not start watching the election coverage until about 10pm (when I could tune into Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert) - but what an exciting night! Regardless of your political leanings, you have to admit it was exciting to see so many people engaged in the political process! I've never in my lifetime remember a time when it was so important to so many people. Even Zenna talked about it routinely!!
Personally, I'm thrilled with the outcome! Both nationally and locally! We certainly have a hard 4 years ahead of us, but I think the leadership and vision that President Obama (sounds nice, huh?) will bring to the White House will be a welcome change. I'm anxious to see who he chooses for his cabinet...
